Lis Wiehl (born August 19, 1959) is an American writer and Former legal analyst for Fox News.
She is an adjunct professor at Law at New York Law School. In the past, she was an Associate Professor of Law at the University of Washington Law School. She has offered legal commentary for National Public Radio program and on Bill O'Reilly's radio program, The Radio Factor. She has a weekly appearance in The O'Reilly Factor. Wiehl was raised in Yakima and went to West Valley High School. She received her degree from Barnard College with a Bachelor's degree in 1983. In 1985 she received her Master of Arts degree in Literature at the University of Queensland. And in 1987 she was awarded a Juris Doctorate from Harvard Law School.
Wiehl served as a US attorney in the United States. She served as the legal correspondent for NPR All Things Considered. She was "the deputy chief investigative counsel for Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee during Clinton's impeachment." Her time at the University of Washington School of Law Seattle began in 1995 until 2001. She was the director of their Trial Advocacy Program. From 2001 until 2017 Wiehl was an attorney analyst at Fox News.
