Andrea Jeremiah
Andrea Maria Jeremiah works as an Indian performer, actress and musician. Her work is primarily focused on Tamil or Malayalam films. Annayum Rasoolum marked her Malayalam as well as Tamil debuts as an actor. Andrea Jeremiah is born in a Anglo-Indian family living in the Arakkonam region of Tamil Nadu.Andrea's father works as a solicitor working at the Madras High Court. She also has one younger sister, who works as a research associate in Leuven Belgium. Jeremiah is a native of Chennai. in Chennai attended National Public School. He was a graduate of Women's Christian College. Andrea was an eight-year-old classical pianist who was also a huge geek. Young Stars, a Jackson Five-style group she was a part of when she was 10 was the foundation for singing and composing music. She was an actor at her university and participated in several productions by The Madras Players, EVAM and other theatre groups. Andrea was the President of Women's College's Student Senate. Andrea began the acting profession as a young performer acting in Girish Karnad Nagamandala. She was a part of Shiva in a Leo coffee ad in 2006. She also starred in a TV show airing on Podhigai. The actress has also appeared roles in India. The brief appearance was in Kanda Mudhal's climax, (2005). Following her performance of a song in Gautham Vasudev Menon's Vettaiyaadu she was asked to appear in the role of a lead female characters in his upcoming film Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea portrays Kalyani in this film, which is a remake of James Siegel's novel Derailed. Her husband is implicated in a relationship with her and she is subsequently blackmailed. Andrea was chosen to play Kalyani following Simran Shobana, Tabu and other actors were approached. The film was released in the early part of 2010. In 2011 she agreed to play a minor supporting part that was released early in the year. Venkat Prabhu's multi-starrer Mankatha which came out in August 2011. Annayum Rasoolum was Rajeev's romantic movie that was released in 2013.
