Angela Gossow Urach

Angela Gossow was born to Christian parents in Cologne, Germany, and had three siblings. Her parents divorced when she was just 17 years old. The company's failure led to more financial troubles. The bulimia, anorexia and a variety of mental illnesses caused further problems. Concerning her decision to resign as the singer of ARCH ENEMY Gossow said simply There's an appropriate time and space for every thing. The first time I was on the road was in 1991. My enthusiasm for living on the road was fading. After a while, I realized that I could not be a fool anymore, but instead take a break. The band was originally fronted by Johan Liiva who was replaced by German singer Angela Gossow in 2000. John Farnham's 1986 song, You're the Voice, was a huge hit for Australia, Ireland and UK.
