Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts' parents are Walter Grady Roberts and Betty Lou Bredemus. She is the fourth Roberts generation living in Atlanta from her great-grandfather who was a farmer John Pendleton Roberts. At an early age, her father became interested in theater. In 1952, while studying at Emory University, he performed in several productions in Atlanta. He joined the military in 1953. While stationed in Biloxi Mississippi, he was a part of an army production that featured Betty Lou Bredemus who was as well in Air Force. The couple got married in 1955 and the couple's first child Eric Anthony was born in 1956. Walter was enrolled in Tulane University, New Orleans Louisiana. In 1957, the couple quit the Air Force and Walter began his studies at Tulane. Walter began working for Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio in 1960. Walter as well as Betty Lou began producing a children's TV show in the city of Decatur, Georgia titled Bum Bum and His Buddies. The production was funded by the couple their own. The Actors and Writers Workshop was established in 1964 and lasted for 6 years. They had two more children. Lelisa Billingsley (1965) (also called Lisa) as well as Julia Billingsley (1967) (also know as Julie).
