Julia Fiona Roberts born to Betty Lou Bredemus (mother) and Walter Grady Roberts on October 28th in 1967. Julia Fiona Roberts is the fourth generation of Roberts who reside in Atlanta. Early on, her father became interested in theater. As a college student studying at Emory University from 1952 to 1954, he took part in several performances. When he joined the Air Force and appearing in an airforce production in Biloxi along with Betty Lou Bredemus. Eric Anthony was their first born. The couple was married in the year 1957. Walter was a student at Tulane University New Orleans Louisiana following his departure from the Air Force in the year 1957. Walter was recruited to work for Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio to work on the set of Bum Bum and His Buddies in Decatur Georgia. In 1964, Walter as well as Betty Lou began production on the local Saturday morning children's television program known as Bum Bum and His Buddies which they financed their own. They also established the six-year Actors and Writers Workshop later in the year. They were joined by Lelisa Billingsley (also called Lisa) as well as Julia (also known as Julie) during this period.
